We make fewer

We make fewer

clothes,

on purpose.

01 — The story

Vellum started as a coat workshop on Via dei Serragli. For sixty years it cut for other houses. In 2025 it began cutting for itself.

Each drop is made from a single run of cloth. When that cloth is used, the drop closes. Nothing is restocked, discounted or remade.

> The result is a wardrobe that is small, numbered, and repaired rather than replaced.

01

Source

One run of cloth from a single mill in Prato or Biella. No second orders.

02

Bond

Seams are heat-welded, not stitched, so the shell stays sealed and flat for decades.

03

Stamp

Every piece is numbered inside the collar — 001 to 120 — and logged in the edition record.

Visit, fit, repair

The workshop is open by appointment Tuesday to Saturday. Try pieces on, be measured, or bring back anything that needs repair.
